Sympathy Angel

September 27, 2008

Here we have two different sympathy arrangements, both incorporating an angel garden statue.

The first one is a plant basket with cut flower accents

Both plants and the angel can be put in the garden afterwards

The second piece was for the funeral ceremony and was a cut flower arrangement

Baby Shower

September 26, 2008

We recently did a baby shower that was held in the adjacent restaurant.  The organizer wanted colourful bouquets, with a summery feel and we were only too happy to oblige.  The table centerpieces were created using flowers such as daisies, roses, rose hips, and small sunflowers.  They were put in glass cube vases wrapped with ribbon and finally “garnished” with butterflies.

There were a total of four centerpieces

This arrangement was created using Hydrangea, roses, cabbage, miniature cymbeduim orchid, grasses, and several other plants able to be grown in gardens around RI.  It was placed in the recent favourite pea-pod vase.

Hotel Radisson Centerpieces

September 12, 2008

Every week we deliver fresh flower arrangements to the Radisson hotel on Post rd. in Warwick.  This weeks were especially interesting, utilizing one-off hand blown glass vases, bamboo, and tropical plants.

We retrieved these unique vases from the hotel if you would like them in one with an arrangement

Gerbera and Chocolate Wedding

September 12, 2008

Gerbera daisies, chocolate center, stock, and hypericum.  That’s what it takes to make the most delicious and innovative (not to mention tastefully simple and clean) wedding of the season.

This wedding was just recently (a few days ago) hosted at the Waterman Grill in Providence, RI.  The chocolate brown with white was something wanted by the bride, (we jokingly showed her the brown ribbon with a leopard print ribbon underneath…  which actually didn’t look that bad).  Upon first sitting down with us she had said that none of the other florists she had visited could figure out what she wanted… as you can see we did:

Garden in a Peapod

September 6, 2008

Hello folks, sorry for the lack of updates… school is starting up again and professors usually frown upon my furiously typing in class…

Anyways, this arrangement is for a real gardener and plant lover.  We used a ceramic pea pod container and filled it with a large variety of plants, such as Stars of Bethlehem, Tritoma, Lavender Roses, Tuber Roses, Cabbage, Gerbera, Adriatic Lilies, Rose Hips, Pink Spray Roses, and Rosemary.
