Hydrangeas and Roses and Weddings oh My!

Hydrangeas and roses are the fashion
for this summers wedding scene, and we are only too happy to oblige.
Way back in July we did a fairytale wedding in our garden here, at Ferns and Flowers, Tea house and Bistro.
The arch had a mix of garden style flowers and features roses, hydrangeas and ribbons.
A bubble machine added hundreds of bubbles to the I’do’s!
The the 45 guest had dinner served in the farm house.

This is a lovely fall bouquet, for a wedding party. The attendants have rich red tone dresses. The random cascade sets a carefree yet elegant look to a formal event.
Sunflowers and Hydrangeas

Back with the crowd favourite, Hydrangeas! this time paired with sunflowers, iris, stock, and a berry garland.
The arrangement stands about 3ft tall
The hydrangeas were picked directly from our gardens

Heres a centerpiece done for a wedding table… one down fifteen more to go. We used various colored hydrangeas and roses, sticking to pink and white pastels in a crystal vase. This definitely fits the bill for a classic style wedding.
The overall height of the centerpiece is approximatley 2 feet

Home Grown Wedding

Recently we had a couple come in requesting that we do a wedding for them using flowers from their garden as well as thai orchids. It was decided that the arrangements be clean and contemporary, not over the top. We created bows with Springerii for the chairs along the isle, two vases full of the couples Hydrangeas, and two centerpieces to hang over the couple.
