Fruit and flower arrangements
November 26, 2008
The textures and colors come together when I gather flowers, to match the dinning room, the table cloth, and the china pattern.
We can make a pink and rose color dinning room look thanksgiving and fall like, by adding red apples, beige wheat, purple cabbage flowers, brown pears, red, cream, and honey tone roses and orchids. Go ahead and call me for some suggestions! Michael

Harvest Wedding
October 25, 2008
Just recently we completed a wedding for a woman in Warwick. She wanted to do a fall themed wedding, with a very light and airy feeling. We used a multitude of nuts and fruit, combined with ribbon, autumn leaves, orchids, pumpkins and gerbera daisies.

The nuts and fruit have been touched with some gold paint and glitter

So yea… pretty much the best autumn themed wedding ever.
Gerbera and Chocolate Wedding
September 12, 2008
Gerbera daisies, chocolate center, stock, and hypericum. That’s what it takes to make the most delicious and innovative (not to mention tastefully simple and clean) wedding of the season.
This wedding was just recently (a few days ago) hosted at the Waterman Grill in Providence, RI. The chocolate brown with white was something wanted by the bride, (we jokingly showed her the brown ribbon with a leopard print ribbon underneath… which actually didn’t look that bad). Upon first sitting down with us she had said that none of the other florists she had visited could figure out what she wanted… as you can see we did:

The brown tablecloth looked amazing

As you can see, the colors of the wedding were complimented by the colors of the room

Take that Martha Stewart!

mmm... delicious
Garden in a Peapod
September 6, 2008
Hello folks, sorry for the lack of updates… school is starting up again and professors usually frown upon my furiously typing in class…
Anyways, this arrangement is for a real gardener and plant lover. We used a ceramic pea pod container and filled it with a large variety of plants, such as Stars of Bethlehem, Tritoma, Lavender Roses, Tuber Roses, Cabbage, Gerbera, Adriatic Lilies, Rose Hips, Pink Spray Roses, and Rosemary.

Cabbages and Butterflies

A little spanish moss really brings out the colors of the roses... its a good thing

Notice how the butterfly pulls the oranges and whites down into the core of the arrangement

I love the macro function on this camera!

Hydrangeas and Roses and Weddings oh My!
August 9, 2008
Hydrangeas and roses are the fasion for this summers wedding scene, and we are only too happy to oblige.
Way back in July we did a fairytale wedding at Astors in Newport. We made about fifteen of these table centerpieces and “altar” pieces using roses, hydrangeas, lillies, orchids, stock, pink larkspur, and various greens.

Tropical Centerpiece
August 4, 2008
here we have three centerpieces meant for a wedding rehearsal dinner. We used a multitude of exotic flowers such as birds of paradise, gerbera, ginger, lilies, cocks comb, various tropical foliage, and anthurium in a clear glass container to create a very unique set of centerpieces.

All three centerpieces

Glass cube vases were also used

Gerbera Baby

A client wanted an arrangement of all gerberas so we were happy to oblige. We added a “South of the Border” flair using very warm and vibrant colors accented with whisps of grass.
