The traditional color of red and green is carried from the Poinsettia flower, from Mexico. It naturally blooms around Christmas, and so it was a natural to inject into the holiday, reminding us of the blood that Christ shed for us, which is why he came to be born.
Some time the color is not pleasant in our decor, clashing with our everyday environment.
Ferns and Flowers creates and helps suggest lasting and fresh decorations to accent the business, office or home, without detracting from the charm and personality that has been created.
Here are a few suggestions from last year. In the past we have created the mantle decor for the Governors office, Edwards and Angell Palmer Doge, RGE Fashions and Salon, and many clients residences.
One year we spend a week of evenings reading a clients home for their return from Florida. From the 2 story tree, the 50 feet of garland and the 3 mantles Bathrooms, bedrooms and the lanterns, down to the breakfast in the refridge. Imagine
Harvest Wedding
October 25, 2008
Just recently we completed a wedding for a woman in Warwick. She wanted to do a fall themed wedding, with a very light and airy feeling. We used a multitude of nuts and fruit, combined with ribbon, autumn leaves, orchids, pumpkins and gerbera daisies.

The nuts and fruit have been touched with some gold paint and glitter
